Is Shark Week turning into a joke?

If you have just glanced at this blog than you know I am a bit obsessed with Sharks, so when Shark Week comes around each year it is like Christmas to me. But so far this year I am just not thrilled with it.
Rocking the Shark Week shirt I made - Ready for an exciting week!

Air Jaws: Finding Colossus was good, I have loved all of the Air Jaws incarnations. I was actually scared for the guys in this one - I mean did you see that one of the guys pushed a great white way when he was in the mobile cage. Not to mention the genius who decided it was a good idea to lay on ply-wood that looked like a female shark. But it was real, the sharks were REAL, the danger was REAL, no CGI, no actors, no dramatizations.
Showing my Shark Spirit at work with last years shirt and my DIY shark buddy

After that great show we got Submarine Shark. I was cooking dinner when this started so I missed the disclaimer that it was a dramatization. I thought this was real until they actually showed the shark, I mean are you serious Discovery Channel? Could you get any faker? I let last years Megalodon slip because I do love me some Megs (even though I know they are extinct)  but are you really going to continue showing us these fake shows just to get views?
This year's Shark Week nails - while eating shark gummies

I use to love how Shark Week was about learning of shark and conservation. In the past we had the shark attack survivors who are now shark advocates. We learned the true story that inspired Jaws and how the author regretted the effect his book and later movie had on sharks. We even got Alien Sharks that intoduced many to goblin sharks. I would be happy with a bunch of Myth Busters episodes about sharks instead of the mockumentaries we are getting recently. I would be fine with the mockumentaries if they were not put on during this week or this channel. I loved Sharknado so I can handle cheesy movies but do not try to pass it off as a real event.
My (failed) attempt at painting a Hammerhead migration *note to self work on depth and perception*

That brings me to the new fad that is happening on educational channels - reality TV. Yes, it is cheaper to make. Yes, it can be entertaining. But is it educational NO! TLC is the worst, it is called THE LEARNING CHANNEL, what does Honey Boo-boo teach me? or what about Long Island Medium? It is getting ridiculous. History Channel does it too, what does Pawn Stars have to do with history? They did have the Hatfields & McCoys and they show real documentaries too but the whole reality TV thing is getting too bad.
Sharknado nails

I am still going to watch all of Shark Week and I will most likely watch it again next year but I hope they make it educational again. We want people to stop the slaughter of shark by finning and culling, but if you keep scaring them with these mockumentaries how do you expect anyone to take you seriously? I am a fan of teaching facts, it can be interesting but don't mix in lies to make it that way.

What are your feeling on Shark Week? Do you think they are going too far with the fake documentaries?

Respect *CAUTION RANT AHEAD*

After having a wonder Mother's Day weekend with my 2 step-mom's I have decided many people do not understand how to respect others and how to earn respect.  I am blessed to have two wonderful step-mothers (one married to my birth-dad and the other my ex-step-dad) and without them I would not be the person I am today. They have taught me about not dwelling on the past, how to be a happier person, and how to be a successful adult.I owe my eternal thanks and gratitude to them and they deserve the utmost respect.

Now for the  rant I warned you about:

I feel that respect is a two-way street and that it should be earned not just handed over. I have people in my life and have seen it elsewhere, that demand respect but give none out. If you need a call or a visit on your birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or any other day you deem necessary than you better return that favor. If you can only muster a generic text message for me, why do you feel that you deserve more?  Don't get me wrong I do not mind get a text telling my happy whatever, and I grateful for it. But if you say it is rude and disrespectful to do so than don't do it to me and not expect it in return.

I also feel that public shaming is not a good way to try and earn that respect that you are demanding. (I get that it may seem like I am being a hypocrite writing this post but this is not about one specific person, this is just things that I have seen and experienced with many people not just one.) If you spend any time on Facebook at all than you know what I am talking about. People doing the brag/put-down like "my wonder son A got me this for my birthday, waiting on son B to call at least"  or the "so jealous of all the mothers day posts I wish my kids were as thoughtful" but people do it with everything! Let me brag about this trip and then write to someone about how you wish they were there when you never invited them, or worse the people who look at your pictures and ask where their invite was. If you were not invited there was a reason, and if someone rubs it in your face that you were not invited do you really want to be their friend?

I usually try to go above and beyond for the people I care about. I cannot always do so, because money is a thing, but I try. Once I see that my hard work is not appreciated or even ridiculed than why should I try to impress you anymore? I am so happy that you can make others feel guilty for not living up to your ridiculous standards and doing what ever you demand of them, despite their own wishes, but I am not one of them. I will not cower away from my stand on something because you say so. If I do not like to do something that you enjoy, I will not do it just because you want me to. Oh you like to do marathons, spend every waking moment at church/gym, hurt puppies, ride unicorns whatever. Well I don't so you have fun we can do something else that we both enjoy. Don't make me feel bad for not wanting to do those things. Don't ignore me because I went against your wishes on something that is 100% my decision and none of yours.

I know this post is all over the place but I hate going on to social media and seeing people intentionally put people down, try to make them feel guilty or are just rude. Why can't you use the outlet to spread joy. I rarely post on facebook and when I do it is about sharing a great experience with great people. Heck I mainly post news articles that make me happy, like the dives in Australia saving the reef shark.

OK I am going to stop here I can seriously go on all day long on this but I want to get this negativity away from me so I can get back in a good space and have a happy day.

What Would You Fund?

Here's this week's prompt from Sometimes Sweet -

If you had unlimited resources, what political or social issue, or area of scientific or medical exploration would you fund? Do you have a cause that is dear and near to your heart that you'd put your time, energy, and money into if you had the means? Tell us about it, along with a bit of background explaining where you're coming from.

I have been thinking about this since Monday when it was posted and my first thought was education. As you know I am trying to become a teacher and I see some of the flaws in the system, especially when it comes to special education. But I am not sure what section I would want to put all of my time and money into since all aspects of education are important.

I am part of a group who are going to build a playground for special needs children, and I am so happy to be apart of it but there are more things in that school that need help besides the playground (which I find to be incredible and a great addition to the school). It is hard for me to choose just one area. I want the schools to have better textbooks, teachers who are dedicated and not just there for the paycheck and the summer break, I want the students to be excited to be at school and enjoy learning, I want the special needs students to be able to graduate and have a plan in mind for their life and not just live at home or in an assisted living environment (due to specific needs), I want to keep the arts in the schools, I want students to learn foreign languages and for it to be sustainable,  I want the lunches to be healthy, I want classes to teach students about life in the real world (taxes, checking, bill pay, loans, etc), I want teachers to teach more than just the tests,  and so much more.

With so many issues in the world of education I do not know where to begin. Many of my teachers in high school who I still have contact with have told me not to teach because of the politics of it. I have heard that I cannot get a teaching job at some schools unless I know someone because of the politics in those schools and I think that is crazy! I feel that if you are qualified and have a desire to educate, then not growing up in that district should have no barring on your interview. Some problems cannot be fixed with money or time.

With all of that being said I  would still try to work on the education system since it is what will make our country a better place and with the right teachers we can fix many more problems. Science teachers with a love of the planet can help in many ways, math teachers can teach students how to handle money to avoid debt, history teachers with a passion for learning from the past, reading teachers to help us become more intellectual and enjoy education, foreign language teachers teach love of travel and importance of language. All areas of education can teach you more about the world than the students give them credit for but with the right motivation and teachers we can turn our nation into a great intellectual powerhouse.

Sorry for the ramble but that is how I journal.

Oh and also shark preservation! But education helps with this - teach understanding not fear!

What would you like to fix in the world?

Cross your fingers...Teacher Soon?!?

Hey guys I know I have been M.I.A. for a bit but I have been working my tush tush off. I am trying really hard to be a teacher, applying any and everywhere I can, making calls, writing emails, going on two interviews, working on a contingency plan, and working on organizing my house/ craft room for when I am a teacher and I need my craft room up and running.

I am seriously going to pull my hair out with how stressed out this is making me, most schools around me start class on August 26th and I have only had two interviews and the first one said I need more experience, The second one I am still waiting to hear back from hopefully early next week.(FINGERS CROSSED) I am hoping that I am able to get a teaching position before have to student teach for 6 months without pay. I am fully willing to student teach but I am concerned about the lack of income that comes with that, which is why I have been working on a contingency plan, AKA waiting tables or bartending or something of that nature.  I have been so stressed I have not even been reading my Ender's Game book, but I have been trying to calm my self down by planning what to wear on the first day of school. If I get a job - Fingers Crossed!

I keep looking at classroom decor but since I do not know what grade or subject I cannot predict how to decorate it.

Have Y'all Missed Me?

I know...I know I should have been posting more but weather happened. Last week around Wednesday night the rain was CRAZY! We had tornado warnings it was scary outside, Heck this happened!!!!!

Not only did this poor store suffer so did our phone line. The Mister and I are just lucky enough to have this happen to us.

Untitled Untitled Untitled

Lightening struck a tree by our house, traveled down to the roots and found our buried phone line. From there it went straight to our phone box and blew off the door!!! And our plugs were blown out of the wall as well!! Ya it was scary. Oh did I mention the only two things plugged in the wall was our Dish Network box and our router (both blown). Luckily we were safe, we had no fires, and no major damage. Saturday we had  the phone guy come out and fix us up, the phone tower was hit also but only our line was the dead line. We still do not have our cable working so we are watching Netflix and DVDs.  I am so happy to finally be online again and can chat with you guys. I hope you are all safe and sound

The magic in life

Untitled
As you may remember I was sick for a little while but it was not a cold or flu or anything easy it was my panic attacks taking over.

It was a Saturday morning and I was going wedding dress shopping with Josh's mom, my Momma C and Deidre, Momma C's mom (AKA G.G.) and Josh's boss's wife (whom I adore and she treats us like we are her kids)  but I was so excited and anxious and nervous I got sick. I took a few stomach pills and once I started on trying the dresses on I started feeling much better.

Well until I got home, that is when it all caught up with me and I was horribly sick and just went to bed. The next 2 days I had to choke down food, I was not hungry, my stomach was upset the whole time and I was clammy. I knew what was wrong with me it was a giant panic attack but they had never lasted this long before. I also started to think that I was nauseous because I must be pregnant, which made me more anxious and sicker!

On Tuesday morning I went to the doctor and I am so afraid of going to the doctor because I am afraid they will always tell me bad news but I love MY doctor, he makes me feel comfortable and I can relax around him. When I went in I did not see him abut I did see another doctor I had never met and I started to have another attack. When my nurse came in to check my blood pressure and pulse she said it was incredably high and talked to me while I was balling and was in full on panic attack mode. After talking to her for a good 10 minutes I calmed down enough to have my pressure and pulse taken (they were in a great range this time) and I was able to see MY DOCTOR. I was thrilled! We talked about my wedding, my parents moving, up coming holidays and the honeymoon and how they are making me into a giant ball of nerves and anxiety and he prescribed me some medicine to take the edge off and I began feeling so much better.

When I left the doctors office I felt like the world had been lifted off of my shoulders, and I could finally breath. It was a rainy morning and I just walked out to my car looked up and let the rain hit my face and I could not stop smiling. I knew I was about to get the help I have needed to fix my nerves and let me live my life again.

I started taking my medicine the very next day and it has been about 2 or so weeks and I feel better than ever! I have not had another panic attack, I have been around my triggers and nothing has come of it and I cannot be more thrilled!

Heck we had a hurricane warning and I was able to live through that without having to take any extra pills!
I am so excited to live my again!
Give me more
Let's Vogue!!

Wedding Wednesday - Easygoing my aunt fanny

Okay guys time for some brutal honesty I am having such a hard time planning my wedding! I know what I want but I also do not like to hurt people's feelings (within reason).
As y'all have seen in previous Wedding Wednesday posts I want a county fair wedding that is fun with cotton candy and games and fair food and no flowers, well people are making it not so fun and easy-going on me.

1. The Mister's evil sister-in-law (whom nobody in the family likes besides her hubby) is talking about how White-trash the wedding will be that she may show up in a denim mini skirt (she is all talk but so mean)

2. The Mister's sweet sweet step-mom is upset that I do not want flowers because she ALWAYS does the flowers

3. My birthmother is not allowed at the wedding and cannot know the date because she will not allow my younger siblings to attend if she finds out the date.

4. I cannot invite my birthmother's dad because he lives out of state and he will tell her about the wedding (this one is truly the hardest and saddest decision I have had to make planning this wedding)

5. Money is an issue (even if only in my mind) my parents are in the process of moving(Dad got transferred to a larger sales region) and even though they will not say money is an issue I am assuming it is, mainly because I do not like people to spend money on me. (I refused lunch/gas money from my parents when I was in high school because I had a job I could do it myself)

6. The Mister's birth mom and step-mom, both whom I love, cannot stand each other. As soon as we told his step-mom we were engaged she asked who was sitting in the mother of the groom's seat? I told her we were not having assigned seating.

7. Too many parents! I love my family with all my heart but I cannot say which set of parents mean more to me than the other, without my dad and momma C I don't know where I would be right now and without David who has raised me since I was 4 I would not have had an alley in hard times or met The Mister. I decided to have both dad's walk me down the aisle to give me away and dance with both at the reception.

Now with all of that being said Momma C just asked if I want to get married on the beach during our vacation at the end of this month, none of the drama listed above would happen but I think about my family what is not going on vacation with us and think it will cause much much more drama. What about my cousin who, since we met when my mother married her uncle, have been planning our weddings as each other's MOH's? What about The Mister's parents, his Dad was going to marry us? What about David and Deidre? What about The Mister's Groomsmen? What about the brother's photo plan of being superheros? What about my dream dress? What about the time my brother and my friend eloped without telling anyone, and when we found out by reading it in the newspaper how furious I was and didn't speak to the for months? How could I do that? How could I run off and marry the man I love without the people that we love, let alone the people who introduced us?
NC013524
I know that David and Deidre will be relieved that they will not feel obligated to contribute to the wedding, since they are in the process of building a house. I know that Momma C has made an invitation for Josh's parents to stay in the cabin with us during our vacation to go to the wedding. I know that the brother's can take the picture at the reception when we get home. I am confidant that the groomsmen will not care as long as they still get to throw The Mister a party (I love that the Mister & his friends are nerdy, strippers and wild bachelor parties was never their plan). I know that I can find a dress that I will love and cherish forever, because I am easy like that. And I know that Rachel the MOH would get off of work and drive to where ever she needed to be to be there with me. But I still cannot make up my mind. The Mister who is so loving and sweet wants whatever I want because it is my day, but that does not help me at all!

So what do y'all think? Should I deal with a birthmother who will try to crash my wedding, with two other mother's fighting over a seat, with a sister in law being rude, without my grandpa? Or should I be a hypocrite and elope on the beach with half my parents, half my siblings, none of The Mister's friends or family, without my MOH and deal with the repocusions at the reception party when we get home?

You get what you pay for

In the past two weekends The Mister and I have attended 2 dance recitals, the first for his niece and the second for The Princess. And let me just say if my parents were not moving The Princess would not be going be to the dance studio she went to the past 2 years. Let's start with the first recital for The Mister's niece:

Pros:
Spin
  • The dancing was incredible!
  • They introduced the graduating seniors (including accomplishments in school, church and clubs)
  • They had an award ceremony for 5-10 years (a trophy and a rose)
  • They gave a Rose ring with a Diamond in the center to the girls who attended for 15 years
  • The recital had a story line with teachers 'acting' to transition and when props were added and subtracted
  • The older girls helped the younger girls with the steps from both sides of the stage
  • Costumes were cute
  • Music was appropriate
  • Neat souvenir program with pictures and well wishes for the girls (had to pay to get picture in program)
  • Mister's Niece was wonderful
Cons:
  • No free program only the $10 dollar program with picture of the girls

Princess' Recital

Untitled
Pros:
  • The princess was precious
  • Had dancers of all ages (had a lady in her 30s up there with the 20 y/o girls group)
  • Free program
  • 2 girls were remarkable dancers
Cons:
  • Most of the dancers were way off beat (expected with the beginners not the advanced classes)
  • The music choices were horrendous *
  • It seemed thrown together, it did not flow from one act to another
  • No introduction at all to the dancers, no acknowledgement to the graduating girls or anything. They just started dancing.
  • No sign of the instructors, usually the instructors or the studio owner introduces the studio and says something about the performance, but we got nothing!
  • I could not see anyone on the sides helping the younger girls(I was sitting where I could see of stage on one side)

*for 7-10 year old hip-hop class the song choice was absolutely horrible it was talking about "getting 4 more shots of Patron" and I believe the song was a remixed version of Bass Down Low by DEV. I will have to watch the DVD when my parents get it in but I remember that line distinctively and when I googled it that song came up and it sounds very close to what they danced to. I was not impresses by the song choices. But the Princess was adorable.

How would you feel about unsavory music being played at an event that had young kids participating?

Wedding Wednesday

So I know I mentioned this in the last Wedding Wednesday post but I am having a County Fair style wedding and reception. Luck for me some other people have had carnival and fair weddings and parties so I have found some great inspiration.
This site had some great ideas. I doubt we are going to have any rides at our reception because come on it is a bit much (in my opinion) . But we are going to have some activities besides dancing (because I would rather play washers than two-step)
Frosted Weddings Vintage Carnival Wedding
This is a mash up of a few different events but I do like the bow tie, the photo op accessories, the fabric flowers on the bottom left and the wooden signage (but I doubt I will put hoedown since I already have nay-sayers dissing my wedding plans IRL, I do not want to add to the list of stuff they can trash talk on)Sorry about that but you should never tell a bride to be her plans are tacky and she would be better of going to the Justice of the Peace to get married
colorful country fair wedding
This couples wedding is AMAZING and pretty dang close to what I have in mind for my wedding. I love the laid back feel, the decorations, it being outdoors, pretty much all of it (minus flowers and cake)
I wish I could find a venue like theirs' but so far I have had not luck on a barn hunt but I may have found the next best thing(fingers crossed).

I know there are so many more beautiful weddings out there but I am going to stop here so I can have future posts.

Questions about religion

*These are my real questions! They are not meant to hurt anyone's feelings, I really want to know the answers! I will not be offended by any answers, and will give honest feedback. I truly want to learn more on this subject*

So I know there are many religious bloggers out there and I am a little jealous of that. I wish I was that devoted to something like that. I am a spiritual person, I feel I do the right thing most of the time, I don't drink, I have never done drugs, and I don't break the 10 commandments but I have so many questions about religion that I cannot be truly and wholly devoted to something I have questions about. I was raised Southern Baptist(I don't know the difference but that's what people at my church always said "southern Baptist") and it was ok I really enjoyed spending time with the youth group but I got bored in church! I am very interested in religion, in all religions. I want to know more about them. I know that I will get comments on this but...

How do you know the religion you believe in is the right one? When I ask this question I get the same answer "faith". I get that being raised on something makes you believe it; like Santa if you raise your kids saying Santa is real, then they will believe it until you tell them otherwise (or they learn from older kids). Now I am not saying Santa is Jesus/Buddha/Allah/etc. equivalent but I am saying that just because your family raised you one way doesn't mean it is right (not that religion isn't right).
I really hope I am making sense right now.

Okay so another thing I may get comments about is...
The Greek Gods, I understand where the Greeks were coming from with their gods. They had things happen in the world around them and didn't know how to explain them so they had the gods. I understand that logic. But the thing that I really like about it is the lineage. The question I have always had in church as a child was who was God's father, we know that Jesus was born of Mary and Joseph and was God's child, but who is the Grandpa or God's dad. When learning about creation I was always told something cannot come from nothing that is why the big bang isn't possible, so using that logic is where my question came from. I was always told it was faith. I got tired of all of my questions having the same answer, I wanted a real answer.

IF something cannot be made from nothing how did God make Earth
WHO is God's father
WILL our current religions be told as fictional stories (like the Greeks) in the future
HOW did you know what religion to choose
HOW do we know what was written was meant to be turned into a religion instead of a philosophy

Those are just a few question that I have had that have never been answered. Like I said I was raised baptist but I have been the Catholic churches and they are a spectical and not in a bad way. It is completely different going to a catholic and baptist churches, baptists are usually less structures in the churches I have been to and when I went to the catholic churches I felt that I was in a club and did know the secret hand shake. (Again this is just my experience in the few catholic churches I have been to) Catholics have rituals that baptists don't like when the preacher Father says 'Bless you' the whole church goes 'And with you'. This completely threw me off when it happened the first time, because I was not warned this would happen, I felt like I didn't have the script. In baptist churches the preacher preaches, the choir sings, the congregation opens up the hymns and sings, the preacher preaches some more and church is let out with the choir singing. (yes I left bits out but that is the just of it) So going into this Catholic church I was expecting about the same, but it wasn't and it was nice. I like to ritual of it all. As I understand it (and I could be wrong) Catholics and Baptist belief the same core stuff virgin birth; miracles; atonement for sins through the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus; the Trinity. But Catholics are (I don't know how to say this so bare with me) more hardcore, like with the rituals, Lent, and Christenings.

What I don't get is why the difference? Why are there multiple religions that all use the same book? I mean all Christians(Baptists, Catholics, Pentecostals Etc) use the whole bible, Mormons recognize the Bible but use the Book of Mormon(am I right on this), Judaism uses the Old Testament, and Muslims recognize it as an old version. (PLEASE correct me if I am wrong I want to know)

**Edit**
I realise some may not want to answer in the comments so if you do feel like making a response you can email me at jesslynnsteele (at) gmail (dot) com

A few things about me

park pictures 206

  1. I love going to the park but I get too hot and am ready to leave in about an hour or less
  2. I am a gigantic procrastinator. I would have last weeks daily pictures up I still haven't uploaded the pictures/same with the Mardi Gras pictures
  3. I really miss going to school. I will be going back soon not sure if it is going to be online or in class yet, but I cannot wait!
  4. I am fascinated with religion even though I am not an extremely religious person (I know there are so many religious bloggers) I want to know about all the religions. I may have to do a post on this! Yaya for ideas!
  5. I am always sick. My doctor says I am completely healthy, but my stomach hurts the majority of the time. It gets worse when I am nervous or anxious so I am no good around big groups of people like at parties.
  6. I use to not be this way in high school I was a huge people person, now I am not!
  7. I am very jumpy when riding (but not driving, I am more composed then) in a car. I have been in 3 wrecks in a 1 year span all of them totaled my cars.
  8. I am jealous of short people. I am not extremely tall but I am tall enough for it to be hard to find pants, shorts, and skirts long enough. I do not like ankle length dresses.
  9. I have about 30ish cook books and I only use 2.
  10. Alton Brown is my favorite food network chef, I have 4 of his books and a couple of Good Eats seasons on DVD but I haven't used them in over 2 years.
  11. If Josh didn't wake me up for work every morning I would never be on time, even though it only take me 5 minutes to get dressed. making breakfast takes a lot longer.

Does it really matter Paula?!

So many people are talking about the "Paula Scandal" and I feel that I need to put my two cents in.

Now I want y'all to know I LOVE me some Paula Deen! Her food is amazing, her pans are the greatest ever (I have many), and she seems like an all around sweet person. I am sure I love her because I am southern and she cooks good southern food. I like to say I eat healthy but to be honest if I do not eat that healthy. Heck last night I ate chicken spaghetti which is Velveeta, Rotel, spaghetti noodles, and chicken mixed in a baking dish topped with more cheese until melty and delicious.  I love cheese, butter, carbs, and other bad stuff. Granted I do not eat a whole lot of sweets, not a fan of chocolate, and my favorite snacks are fruity like the frozen fruit pops or yogurt but that is the healthiest bit of my diet. Now that I have gotten that out I want to say that I am not upset or angry at Paula for having diabetes like many people are.

I think that is perfectly fine that she didn't tell everyone that she had diabetes because it has nothing to do with her career. Yes I get that she cooks with TONS of butter and that her food is very fattening and very sweet, but have you ever seen her finish a meal that she makes? NO! Have you ever heard her say anything about over eating what she has cooked? NO! She takes about one bite of food, says she wishes we could taste or smell the food then she moves on to the next dish. I think that the fact that her son is getting a show making her food healthier is great! I think that she will show up on his show, just like they show up on hers. I think that she will do it to preach about moderation and a healthier life-style but she will stick to her 'bread and butter' on her own show. (see what I did there? get it bread and butter? Paula is know for using tons of butter? Get it? huh? Yes I am that clever!)

Do people think that she eats all of the food that she cooks on her show? Of course she doesn't! I bet you that  the staff on the show eats it, and she eats later (like with her family!) Heck half the time she makes the food twice once on the show and once before the show so we can see the finished product (if it needs to be cooked in the oven) with that much food she is sharing it. But basically I want to say I love Paula Deen and her having diabetes doesn't change my idea of her at all, because I know that she has a TV persona and a real life persona and they do not have to match. So yes I know many people will disagree with me but I still love Paula, I will still watch her show, I will still use her pans, I will still cook some of her recipes, and I will still adore the Paula Butter memes.
