He is 16 and just got his first job and he has the sweetest girlfriend, so I like to check on him to see if he is being good during the day by snapchatting. Plus I get to make silly faces! Da Hubby is no longer effected by my faces.

Wedding Wednesday - Bachelorette Party

I cannot tell you guys how much fun I had at my bachelorette party. It was incredible! I am not a drinker (but you guys know that already) so it was hard to find something that I would enjoy as well as my party loving friends and family. We finally decided on Painting With a Twist, if you have one near you please go! Untitled

We did the Breakfast at Tiffany's painting and it was much easier than I was expecting. I learned that they also have couples night and I know that will be a perfect date night.

Untitled
There was some dancing, drinking eating and of course painting.

Untitled
Did I mention that if you spoke negatively about your own painting, you get some face painting.

Untitled
This is why all of our paintings turned out so good, they sketch it on the canvas for you. Basically it is paint by numbers. I Highly recommend this for any and everyone!!

Countdown to Valentine's Day - Adult Cards (but not dirty)

DSC02080 - Copy (2)

When you get older you usually do not give Valentine's cards like you did in school. I did some snooping around and I found some really awesome ones!!

Star Wars has a special place in my heart and I just love this card.
Etsy seller DarkroomandDearly

I would give this to my cousin/MOH in a heartbeat

Movie Review - ParaNorman

Movie Review title

I figured I would try something new. Yes, I know how many times have I said that and it always falls through. Well I am always watching movies and TV so I figured I could possibly keep up with this. I am starting with a movie we just got in from Netflix... ParaNorman.

This show was seriously cute! But let me tell you what IMDb has to say about it.
"A misunderstood boy takes on ghosts, zombies, and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries old curse." It was also given a 7 out of 10 stars.

The Mister fell asleep while we were watching this show but I thought it was great. I love cartoons, misunderstood /coming of age characters, anything sci-fy so this movie was right up my alley. Neil the little buddy is so funny, and the older brother cracked me up.  He knew his weaknesses and I thought it was so great that he was a homosexual. The dog scene was so funny, I laughed so hard in some parts I woke up The Mister. I really want to talk about all of my favorite parts, but I don't want to ruin the movie. I think the way Norman ended the curse was unexpected but a great way to end the movie. It had its 'scary moments' that I knew it would be a while before The Princess could watch it, but it is a great movie & I will be watching it on Halloween.  It is a family show but it also teaches great lessons.

Even the tagline struck a cord with me : 'You don't become a hero by being normal.'
So what y'all think? Have you seen this movie? Should I continue with this?

Merry (belated) Christmas!

I hope that y'all had a wonderful Christmas! I know that I was so happy to spend time with my family and eat great food. I had to bounce from house to house and we had horrible weather Christmas day but it was so worth it!

I had festive nails all December (I missed taking pictures of 2 different nails a snowman set and lights)
We played with the Princess' wigs. Watched her in the church performance. Made some horrible gingerbread houses. let The Mister do my make-up (horribly if I may say so my self). The Princess pretending to be Rudolph. And The Princess opening presents Christmas morning. ( Learned that our parents do not like to be woken up at 5 am to open presents, they sent us back to bed. or me back to the Princess bed and she cuddled with our snoring parents.{I was so happy to speed in my own bed at home the next night let me tell you!!})

I wish I would have taken out my camera at all of our stops but I was so tired after being woken up at 5 am. But I want to know how y'all's Christmas' were, and if you do not celebrate how did you spend your weekend?
