The Mister and I went to a bowling costume tournament and lost so bad, but we were not the worst. The best and worst both got trophies. 

But we did try our hardest!

Weekend Update

I seriously use to LOVE SNL but lately I have not been able to get in to it, but Weekend Update was a favorite of mine. Any who how was y'all's weekend? Mine so so good!

Hidden Treasures

I may have mentioned this before but I love estate sales! I feel like you get to know an older generation and the stuff you find is amazing. This weekend the Mister and I headed out early to check out an estate sale with boy toys like Star Wars, GI Joe, WWII and Space. The Mister was more excited about this one than I was, but we got there and it was PACKED! I swear the whole town was there it was crazy.We were able to get 2 things that we love.

Check that bad boy out! I love it! It is a game table made around 1952. We know this because the last president listed was Eisenhower and it doesn't say when his term ended! It is amazing. We got this beauty for $20 can you believe it!? I have found the same table with the top in worse condition than ours for sale on ebay for $180. Now ours is NOT for sale it is to be kept and loved for more years to come.

Thrifting!

So I may have mentioned this before but I LOVE thrifting and garage sales! This past weekend I had some GREAT luck in my cheap shopping endeavors. I got these 2 cute cute aprons from an Estate Sale at 3 bucks total.Plus I got 32 canning jars ranging from pints to quarts for a total of 8 dollars! I don't think the lady knew what she had. She had a lot of the blue jars, but we let her know those were rare and we did not feel right paying the 20 cents she was asking.Check out these books 25 cents a piece! How awesome is that. The only thing that would have been better would be if they had If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. Mario for 1 dollar! YAY! I also got 2 big boxes of fabric for 5 bucks a box, but at last not pictures of that. *Face Palm*
